Go to your User>Library>Contextual Menus folder and trash the toastit plugin (it is both toast it and mount it). toast disc images and the Mount It contextual menu is working for me. Corel Support is like talking to a very thick brick wall. Have tried deleting the toast preference files and reinstalling with no result. I can still just as easily use the default apple mounter - but I liked the convenience of 'mount it'. If after restart I drag an image into Toast or use the 'toast it' menu item, the standard mac dialogue box comes up saying I have inserted a blank DVD etc.
This seems to me as though Toast is trying to mount the image but can't and just keeps trying. To use the default apple mounter I have to restart the computer. If I use the 'mount it' contextual menu item or 'mount disk image' from within Toast, nothing appears to happen, but, as stated in my first post, if I then resort to the apple mounter a box comes up saying 'resource temporarily unavailable'. It doesn't matter whether they are disk images created under 10.7.4. I found that Toast would no longer handle iso/toastĭisk images even though the default apple disk image mounter had no problem with them. Am a long term Toast user through a variety of versions and often use the 'mount it' contextual menu item.
